Advanced protection for stave ends

After they have been sawn, the stave ends in GRÜNDORF parquet floors edition is impregnated with a special oil-wax emulsion to make them more moisture resistant. This effectively provides greater protection to those areas that are more prone to damage from moisture. The wood is better protected against swelling and dirt will find it harder to affect the ends. This is the ideal way to keep the parquet floor looking beautiful.

	Practical installation that works every time

	Parquet floor edition is installed glue-free, however the Click connection is tapped in while the plank is in a horizontal position. The edition range is also optionally available with the classic tongue and groove connection for glueing.

	And if a plank is damaged beyond repair, it can easily be exchanged thanks to the glue-free installation. If you move house, you can easily remove the floor, take it with you and re-install it in your new home.

	3-layer structure To guarantee optimum dimensional stability, edition has a 3-layer structure consisting of a wear layer, middle layer and stabilising layer. The layers are glued together at a 90° angle blocking movement. The result: a high-quality plank structure that will stay "in shape" for many years.

	Perfect care for S·H·E Plus edition with the oil-treated NatureTec surface should be vacuumed or swept like a lacquered parquet floor. It should be wiped with a damp cloth and the special GRÜNDORF cleaner from time to time.

Innovative middle layer design

The outstanding stability of the parquet planks is ensured by the solid, transversely placed strips of wood with close-set year rings. These strips also perform a second function in GRÜNDORF parquet floors: by placing the strips with a 1 mm gap between them, we designed a revolutionary circulation system that creates a balanced climate in the parquet floor.

	Moisture in the different parts of the floor can spread more evenly and faster throughout the entire floor. Tensions that can arise due to fluctuating moisture levels are significantly reduced. This ensures exceptionally high dimensional stability.
